Micaaaaaaaah. I think he is my second favorite to draw from this project now; I just adore his redesign. He’s such a spunky little kid, but all messed up and super emotional too. I mentioned on his official reference sheet that he disliked being yelled at, but there’s a bit more to it then that. A certain type of yelling (the really SERIOUSLY angry kind) is a flashback trigger for him. ZEKE IS OFFICIALLY MY FAVORITE U.S.O. CHARACTER TO DRAW.

Izzy is my favorite personality-wise, but ZEKE IS SO FLIPPIN’ FUN TO DRAW~~! Well, and he does have a nice personality too I suppose, hahahahahahahhaha

thehumanbeing: I just wanted to give a big huge THANK YOU to all you awesome people who pre-ordered Volume 1!!! They should be in the mail and on their way out to you by tomorrow afternoon (five days ahead of schedule!)~<3 Standard sales for the book will open May 20th~ AAAAAAAND my camera continues to be forever derpy, hahahahaha. I’m actually THRILLED that preorders for this book are finally closed and ready to be mailed out. Balancing this book with FireWire Vol. 3 sort of turned into a nightmare for me. Losing track of page counts, forgetting to leave space for extras…DO NOT TRY TO FINALIZE TWO BOOKS AT THE SAME TIME. It will not end well, hahahahahaha. But now that this is all squared away, I can focus a lot better. I recently did a read-through of  all the pages and the special extra that are in Volume 3, and I’m actually rather impressed by how well it flows; even the un-intended chapter splitting… ANYWAYS, Thanks again to everyone who pre-ordered ThBE volume 1~!

YES. INTRICATE. WITH LOTS OF PIECES. But it’s fantastic practice, so I suppose I can’t complain. Oh, and it is already finished and up on dA, hahahaha! I spent all day inking and toning and coloring so that I could work on drawing Ory’s sheet tonight~*w*b

This image is based on a scene that occurs at the very end of the Branch 5 Tournament. What the heck is actually going on in this scene?? I guess you&#8217;ll have to wait and find out ;3 I doodled this about 8 months ago, when I used to do a ton of FireWire free-sketching. I&#8217;m kinda shocked that I didn&#8217;t post this on tumblr sooner&#8230;=v=a

AAAAAND also finally got around to finishing the world map for Waterfall. I should probably just cave and finish up the last world map for Spiritfall, but I seem to be obsessed with drawing things from U.S.O. *is not at all sorry about it either*

The 2nd map is the world map that is in Firefall. They’ll both be in the print version of Waterfall, since places in both maps are touched on in the book~
